Message from Athens Mayor Nikitas Kaklamanis

Dear friends,

Christmas, the most beloved celebration among people of all ages, is here again and filling Athens with light and music. Beautiful ornaments, songs and melodies, unique gifts for children, an eco-friendly Christmas tree, bands in the streets and plenty of fireworks make up this year's festive scene in our city and invite us to come celebrate all together.

Our celebration awaits at Syntagma Square, Kotzia Square, the Zappeion, the National Gardens as well as many other squares and pedestrian walkways throughout Athens, so we can do away with our cares and convey messages filled with hope for the year to come.
